PAX Train: The end…of the beginning.

What? Just beginning and end? Nothing in the middle?

I just got to the hotel in Seattle. The train was four hours late getting to Seattle and, in case you’ve never tried it, it’s impossible to sleep on a train if you didn’t spring for a sleeper car. So, long story short, it’s pretty much a blur. I remember people trying to play Jenga on a moving train, frequent stops and trees.

I went to sleep after my previous post and woke up this morning in Klamath Falls, OR, where we spent two hours waiting for track repairs to finish. Klamath Falls, for those of you who have never heard of it, is the exact geometric center of nowhere.

Once we finally left I wanted to start posting updates from my phone. Unfortunately Oregon has apparently not discovered that newfangled ‘cell phone’ technology yet. I never got enough of a signal to make a post.

Of course there’s still the return trip. We leave first thing in the morning rather than last thing at night, I should be able to do more then.

But first comes three days of gaming, concerts and gaming. More to come.
